Levante defender Hector Rodas has refuted claims that his side are bullies, as they prepare to face Real Zaragoza in the Copa del Rey.
The Granotes are 1-0 down from the first leg as they go into the last 16 clash at La Romareda on Wednesday.
And the 24-year-old has dismissed calls that his teammates are too rough after David Navarro elbowed Christian Sapunaru in the opening encounter.
“We are prepared for everything,” he told a Press conference. “It is a physical game – things that like happen thousands of times over the season.
“It's just that a camera happened to catch that one moment, and now we are too physical.
“I have suffered loads of kicks and elbows in my career – that's football.
“We are not a team that goes looking for a brawl. We are united as a team, but we play within the rules.
“I think we can turn around the deficit,” he added. “It may be 60-40 to them, but I am very confident that we can win.”
