Juan Ignacio Martinez has admitted that he was delighted with his Levante side as they came from behind to beat Athletic Bilbao.

An early goal from Aritz Aduriz was cancelled out by Christian Lell, Vicente Iborra and Nabil El Zhar as the Granotes completed a 3-1 win at Ciutat de Valencia.

And the 48-year-old Coach was pleased with his team's character in fighting back.

“I am very happy,” he told a Press conference. “We have 30 points and that is very important for us.

“We are very close to the goal we set out at the start of the season.

“We went a goal down quickly, but we grew as a team. We were certainly deserving of the win.”

He also commented on the performance of goalscorer Iborra, who opened his account for the season against Marcelo Bielsa's side.

“He's a great player, who has supported this club all his life. His performance has been very high.”
