Atletico Madrid defender Juanfran is confident 2013 will be an even more successful year for the club than 2012 was.
The Rojiblancos collected the Europa League and European Super Cup titles during the year just past, not to mention fighting their way in between Barcelona and Real Madrid at the top of La Liga.
“I am sure 2013 will be even better,” enthused the Spanish international fullback in conversation with reporters. “It’s complicated but there are other titles, other goals. I’m sure we will be fine and the team will give joy to the fans.
“Atletico is a team that aspires to win all the titles. In the League we aspire to be in the top four, but we have to go game by game. That message has worked well for us before and if the Coach has said we must think like that in Mallorca, it will not be different.”
Atleti take on Real Mallorca at the Iberostar Stadium this Sunday night.
