Soldado: I think Gago will stay

Valencia striker Roberto Soldado believes that teammate Fernando Gago will stay at the club, despite interest from Boca Juniors.

The Argentine midfielder has reportedly the subject of a bid from the Buenos Aires-based team.

But the 27-year-old forward is of the opinion that the former Roma man will stay at Mestalla, as well as commenting on the game against Granada at the weekend.

“I think Gago will stay,” he told AS. “I do not know if the interest from Boca is real.

“But while he's here I'm sure he will do everything he can to help this team get wins.

“Every game from now on is going to be increasingly important,” he added. “The game against Granda is fundamental for us going forward.

“We want another away win, but to do that we will have to play with the same confidence we are showing during training.”
