But the Celestes Coach has claimed that his men were lacking in confidence, but still defended their pragmatic gameplan.
“The approach to this game was not defensive,” he told a Press conference. “At no time did we plan to play defensively, it's just my players lacked the belief to win.
“Atletico are a team that gives you room to come out with the ball, and then they press and break. Theu have not lost a game at home this season, so it works.”
