Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ibai Gomez has admitted that the club want to end a mixed year on a high with a win against Real Zaragoza.
Los Leones host Manolo Jimenez's side on Saturday evening in their final game of 2012, and the 23-year-old has claimed that they will go all-out for the three points against a 'tough' team.
“This year has been a relatively positive one for us,” he told terra.es. “We have the opportunity to claim our third straight win and it is important for us to do so.
“We need to win and move clear from the relegation zone and start getting closer to the teams near the top – which is where we deserve to be.
“Jimenez's team are a strong one so it is bound to be a tough game. They've got quite a few points away from home, so it's going to be difficult.”
