‘Zaragoza must keep feet on ground’

Real Zaragoza midfielder Franco Zuculini has admitted that the club will not move ahead of themselves after a superb start to the season.

The Blanquillos currently sit in 12th place in La Liga having won six of their first 15 games.

But the 22-year-old has conceded that the players will keep their feet on the ground, as well as revealing his delight at scoring his first goal for the club in their 2-0 win over Rayo Vallecano on Monday.

“We must keep our feet on the ground,” he told AS. “We must look down, not up.

“We cannot get up in the clouds and relax. We must continue to give 100 per cent and when we do that, the results will come.

“We have to work hard and be optimistic as well.

“I was delighted with the goal,” he said. “I have been after that for a long time. I felt confident in the position I was playing and the goal just came.

“There have been other games where I think I've played better, but the goal gives me confidence.”
