Valencia defender Adil Rami has admitted that he is 'crazy' after he scored from inside his own half against Llagostera.
The French international opened the scoring in the Copa del Rey clash at Mestalla yesterday, and has conceded that he was flooded with praise after the game.
“I know I'm crazy to try these things,” he told Valencia TV. “But when I saw the replays of the goal, I was really happy.
“I tried it without even seeing where the goalkeeper was, but I had a good touch and said to myself 'I'll go for it'.
“After the game I had a lot of messages on Twitter and from the French Press. Central defenders don't normally try this sort of thing.”
