Real Mallorca Coach Joaquin Caparros chided his team for ‘playing with fire’ after their 2-0 loss at Rayo Vallecano.
The islanders suffered their seventh defeat in eight League matches yesterday afternoon, falling to late goals scored by Leo Baptistao and Andrija Delibasic.
“It was a game that was decided in the last 20 minutes, because they were more consistent and we played with fire,” the former Athletic Bilbao trainer said during his post-match media duties.
“I liked Rayo, they won deservedly and now we have to think of the coming squeeze to get points. We generated chances, but the action of Leo unbalanced the game. Now we need to be more convinced than ever and have belief in ourselves.”
