Valencia will have to make do without Fernando Gago and Joao Pereira for their League clash at Malaga on Saturday night.
Los Che have been without central midfielder Gago and full-back Pereira for last weekend’s win over Espanyol and the midweek draw with Bayern Munich through respective injury.
Neither participated in training today and are both reported as highly unlikely to recover in time to make the trip south to La Rosaleda.
Gago and Pereira are struggling with different types of calf muscle and remain on the sidelines alongside Sergio Canales and Jeremy Mathieu.
Valencia travel out this weekend also without Roberto Soldado and Victor Ruiz through suspension.
