Valencia midfielder Sofiane Feghouli has admitted he is delighted with the 1-1 draw against Bayern Minich.
The Algerian wide-man scored the opening goal against the Bundesliga giants, before Thomas Muller equalised late on.
But the 22-year-old believes that they have to be happy with a point after going a man down in the first half after Antonio Barragan was sent off.
“It was a fantastic match,” he told TVE. “We have more than matched a great team, and deserved to qualify from the group.
“I gave as much as I could for the team. We wanted to win for the fans, but we have to be satisfied with the draw.”
