Athletic Bilbao striker Aritz Aduriz says he is remaining positive before Saturday’s trip to face Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.

In-form Aduriz, signed in the summer from Valencia, has scored eight times in 11 La Liga games this term, making him the fourth-highest goalscorer in Spain, and trusts the Basques can get something from the Madrid game.

“We know how difficult it is to go to the Bernabeu but we are going to give everything to try and get a positive result.

“We’ll go into the game a little more relaxed after having achieved two important victories,” the 31-year-old told a Press conference, while insisting he is not particularly worried that the Basques have injury problems going into the game.

“Yes we have injuries but we also have a great team, and I’ve got a lot of confidence in the rest of the players who will be out there,” he declared.
