Fernando Gago is set to start for Valencia in their crunch clash with Atletico Madrid and subsequently will celebrate 100 appearances in La Liga.
The Argentine midfielder has been working all week with the reported intention of starting in midfield alongside Tino Costa for the visit of Atleti on Saturday, for what would be his eighth appearance for Los Che.
Added to the 92 he made for Real Madrid between 2007 and 2011, the 26-year-old will reach a century of games in the League on Saturday night. Gago has only netted once during his time in La Primera.
