Athletic Bilbao's Ander Herrera has been hit with a two match ban as punishment for his sending off against Valencia last weekend.
The midfielder was shown a straight red card for lashing out at Los Che's Tino Costa at Mestalla. It was a costly dismissal as Athletic – 2-1 up at the time – went on to lost 3-2.
Herrera will be unavailable for this weekend's match at home to Getafe, and the following week's visit to Granada.
