Roberto Soldado has conceded he was delighted at bagging a hat-trick for Valencia against BATE Borisov on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old scored all three goals as Los Che overcame the Belarussian champions 3-0 in Minsk, and the former Getafe man has admitted he was thrilled to score.
“Getting goals is always critical for a striker,” he told sportyou.es. “And that is even more the case in the Champions League.
“I just hope I can do it in the League so that we climb the table.”
Valencia are currently top of Group F on goal difference, level on six points with BATE and Bayern Munich.
