Celta Vigo boss Paco Herrera believes the current Real Madrid side is the strongest in the history of the club.
The former Coach of Liverpool reserves takes Los Celestes to the Bernabeu tomorrow evening for a fixture that is no less daunting because of Real's injury crisis.
“This is the best Real Madrid in history,” Herrera declared earlier today. “Last year they were the top scorers, they beat you by knockout.
“This year they have started differently but they are recovering their style.”
The 58-year-old went on to praise several Los Blancos players individually.
“They have the best goalkeeper in the world, Iker Casillas, the best central defender, Sergio Ramos, and one of the best central midfielders, Xabi Alonso. Cristiano Ronaldo? That's different, him and Lionel Messi are the two best.”
Celta are 12th with nine points, just two points behind fifth placed Real.
