Levante will apparently deny captain Sergio Ballesteros' wishes and not appeal the yellow card he received against Valencia.
Ballesteros was issued with the card in the first half of the Granotes 1-0 win over their city rivals on Sunday, for what the referee described in his report as 'pretending to be the subject of a stamp from an opponent when the ball was out of play.'
The 36-year-old defender has a different take on the incident though, saying that he had been the victim of a stamp and an elbow from Valencia striker Roberto Soldado and that the club should appeal his booking.
However according to AS, club officials have decided against doing so after scrutinising footage of the incident.
