Sandro Rosell has described Barcelona as ‘the world’s most transparent club’ in talking at the launch of a new book on the Catalans.
The club are the subject of another book discussing amongst other things their ties to Catalan culture and politics, which in recent weeks has returned to the fore with the issue of independence in the region rising again.
Speaking at the book’s presentation club President Rosell reflected on his club’s relationship with its public.
“Barca is more than a club and will be for its entire history,” he told reporters today.
“At Barca you know everything, we are probably the world’s most transparent club. Lluis Lainz [author of this book] has helped make this so, explaining the stories that have taken place behind closed doors.”
