Eliseu hits two for magic Malaga

Malaga continued their hugely impressive debut Champions League campaign with another 3-0 win, over Anderlecht in Belgium.

The Andalusians thumped Zenit St. Petersburg on matchday one, but the Belgian champions were confident after holding Milan to a draw in Italy.

They were outplayed in the first half however, and fell behind in stoppages, Eliseu smashing in a spectacular volley when a corner was cleared to him.

Manuel Pellegrini's side doubled their advantage from the penalty spot 12 minutes into the second half, Joaquin converting confidently after Nacho Monreal was brought down by Cheikhou Kouyate.

Eliseu got his second and Malaga's third ten minutes later and again it was a beauty, chipping Silvio Proto when put through.

After the first two Champions League fixtures in their history Los Boquerones top Group C with six points, a 100 per cent record, six goals for and none against.
