The test at Campo de Vallecas has been successful – so tonight's meeting between Rayo Vallecano and Real Madrid should go ahead.

Rayo have been hard at work trying to repair electronic cables which were severed by vandals, causing last night's postponement and the re-arrangement of the fixture.

A test carried out at the stadium a short time ago was a success, with the club releasing a photograph on their official website which showed the floodlights in the affected stand in full working order.

The match should therefore kick off as planned at 7.45 local time.
