Markel Susaeta is delighted that Athletic Bilbao picked up a first League win of the season, for restoring some of the trust between teammates.
“They are three very important points, because, with the way it has been, there were some doubts,” the 24-year-old revealed after the 2-0 result over Real Valladolid, in which he scored once.
“But with the goals we have reached a calmer level and it is good because at the end of the game the team were more relaxed.
“If you have conceded a lot of goals and lost a lot of balls, the trust is gone. And Valladolid intended to play their style of play by keeping possession, because they had played so well in the previous two games.”
