Sevilla are chasing Barcelona’s Jonathan Dos Santos, reports Mundo Deportivo.
Although the central midfielder has been part of boss Tito Vilanova’s pre-season plans, the Mexican international is still understood to be one of the candidates to depart the Camp Nou should a suitable offer be received.
The Andalusians are searching for a player to command their midfield and Dos Santos fits the profile of what boss Michel is looking for.
It is a move that could appeal to the 22-year-old as he has found his first team opportunities at Barca limited since his emergence through the club’s La Masia academy.
There is also a chance that he could link up with older brother Giovani.
Los Rojiblancos having been tracking the Tottenham Hotspur player since before the start of last season and are still interested, although the London Club will need to lower their asking price.
