Villarreal have offered a proposal to Inter midfielder Borja Valero to return to the club, according to reports.
The 33-year-old midfielder spent two seasons at the Yellow Submarine between 2010 and 2012 but is under contract at the Milanese giants until June 2020.
Transfer news reporter Giulia Stronati claims that the Spanish side has contacted both Inter directors and Borja Valero’s agent to discuss the potential move.
However, Valero only joined the Nerazzurri last season on a deal from Fiorentina, signing for €5.5m plus bonuses.
The midfielder started his career at Real Madrid and also had a stint in Spain with Real Mallorca.
