Brazil Coach Tite has hailed the ‘evolution’ of midfielder Paulinho since he joined Barcelona from Guangzhou Evergrande this summer.
The 29-year-old joined the Blaugrana from the Chinese Super League side in August and is an integral part of the Brazilian national setup.
“I believe he is evolving and has raised his level,” Tite is quoted by Diario Sport as telling a news conference.
“I think the reasoning behind this is that he’s playing in Barcelona’s system of player’s supporting each other and benefiting their own performances.
“He is a box-to-box player, but has many more aspects to his game including good anticipation and perception of the game so he will no doubt be a big success at Barcelona.”
