City reach deal with Valencia’s Touaizi

Manchester City have reached an agreement with Valencia for the transfer of striker Nabil Touaizi, according to reports in Spain.

The Moroccan-born forward is rated highly in Valencia’s academy and has been capped by Spain at Under 16 level, catching the eye of many top European scouts for his knack of scoring a variety of goals.

Valencia want to keep the 15-year-old but the club are struggling financially and need to sell off players to settle debts, with Plaza Deportiva reporting a deal has been agreed between the clubs for a transfer in the region of €300,000, plus future incentives.

Touaizi joined Los Che from Santomera de Murcia as a 13-year-old and has scored over 70 goals in two years.

City sporting director Txiki Begiristain visited his friend Jose Ramon Alexanko, the Valencia sporting director, last week.
