Paco Jemez fears Patrick Ebert may have torn his Achilles tendon in Rayo Vallecano’s 2-1 defeat to Villarreal on Sunday.
The German winger departed El Madrigal on a stretcher after he landed awkwardly from a jump and looked to be in some agony as he held the back of his ankle.
“Hopefully it’s a mistake, but Ebert may have torn his Achilles tendon,” the Coach said after the game.
Ebert, who only joined Rayo in the summer, could miss the rest of the season in the worst-case scenario.
