Barcelona have confirmed Andres Iniesta suffered a thigh injury in the Champions League win over Bayer Leverkusen.
Iniesta asked to be replaced on the hour mark with Barca trailing to Kyriakos Papadopoulos’ goal, Sergi Roberto and Luis Suarez turning the game around in the last 10 minutes.
La Blauagrana’s official website reports Iniesta has a hamstring injury in his right leg but doesn’t offer any prediction for how long the midfielder will be missing.
Barca are already without Rafinha for the duration of the campaign and Lionel Messi on Saturday suffered a knee injury that could keep him out for two months.
