Derby County defender Raul Albentosa is expected to sign for Malaga on Monday after reportedly agreeing terms and passing a medical.
According to AS, the 26-year-old landed in Andalucia on Saturday night to apply the finishing touches to his season-long loan, despite late enquiries from Granada, Espanyol and Eibar.
Malaga are currently based in the German town of Baden-Baden and will give Adnane Tighadouini and Duje Cop their debuts against Freiburg on Sunday.
