Barcelona forward Luis Suarez has admitted that his goal against Paris Saint-Germain 'gave him his self-confidence back'.
The Uruguayan set up Lionel Messi's equaliser before netting his second Champions League strike for the Catalan giants on Wednesday to help them top Group F, leaving him in a state of delight at having ended his recent drought.
"The goal has given me the state of mind to regain my self-confidence and help the team," Suarez said after the match.
"We quickly noticed that they were a good team and played well in the first half, but we controlled the game after half-time.
"Being first in the group gives us peace of mind to play at home in the second leg.
"Tactics are things left to the Coach and his staff, not the players.
"Nothing changes for us. We must always work collectively, always running and helping each other."
