Eduardo Berizzo was happy to get off to a winning start as Celta Vigo Coach but warned against getting carried away.
Berizzo oversaw a 3-1 win against Getafe, although wasn’t happy his side conceded to threaten what was a comfortable lead.
“We have to leave the match satisfied because we deserved to win despite an untimely mistake that gave suspense to a match that we controlled,” Marca reports Toto as saying.
“We have to improve in that area so it doesn’t happen again.
“It’s important to hope but as long as there is a firm basis for the hope because there are many difficult steps ahead, like today.
“Our idea is to play from minute one to minute 90 in the same way. The pressing worked and the effort of the whole team was great because all the players were supportive in the same effort.
“I train a very good group of players and they are always willing and confident to train. That makes the job of the coaching staff easier.”
