Inter defender Dodo has backed childhood friend Neymar to recover from injury and shine for Barcelona.
The Brazil international suffered a fractured vertebra during the World Cup, but is expected to be available for the Blaugrana’s first League match of the new season against Elche.
And the full-back, who played with the 22-year-old for Brazil’s Under-17s, has insisted that his friend can bounce back this term.
“We are childhood friends," Dodo told Gazetta dello Sport.
“At 8 years old, we played futsal together, we were neighbours. He's always been incredible.
“Now, after the accident, I know that he will be fine.”
