Real Madrid lost on penalties to Inter last night after a 1-1 draw in the Guinness International Champions Cup.
Gareth Bale scored for Los Blancos but his spectacular goal was cancelled out by Mauro Icardi’s penalty, the spot kick awarded for a foul on Nemanja Vidic.
The tie went to a penalty shootout with Isco and Asier Illarremendi among the unsuccessful Madrid takers.
Madrid fielded a side containing a mix of established names and youngers, including Bale, Diego Lopez and Pepe.
