Reports in Spain say Barcelona and Valencia have agreed a deal to take Jeremy Mathieu from Mestalla to Camp Nou.
It was claimed earlier on Wednesday that all that remained before the transfer could be completed was a decision on how the fee would be paid.
AS now say it has been agreed that Barca will pay €10m up front and a further €10m in instalments.
Mathieu was to travel with Valencia to Peru for the start of their South American tour but it’s understood he has remained in Madrid rather than make the rest of the journey.
