Giorginio Wijnaldum has claimed that Netherlands wanted to leave the World Cup on a high.
The Dutch beat Brazil 3-0 on Saturday evening to finish the tournament in third place.
And the midfielder, who netted the final goal of the game, claimed that it was nice to leave with a victory.
“We battled real hard this tournament and we wanted to end it on a high,” he told NOS.
