Xabi Alonso has remained coy on what his own future holds after Spain’s World Cup came to an end.
La Roja beat Australia 3-0 thanks to goals from David Villa, Fernando Torres and Juan Mata.
But the Real Madrid midfielder has claimed that he will think about his international future soon.
“It's just the World Cup that's over, now I'm just going to think about having a rest,” he told reporters after the game.
“We wanted to win to go home with least bitter taste possible.
“We wanted to leave with same pride and dignity as when we won.”
