Paco Jemez has claimed that he will try and rescue any positives from Rayo Vallecano’s 6-0 loss to Barcelona.
The Franjirrojos were battered at Camp Nou on Saturday, but the Coach has insisted that the scoreline makes no difference against the Blaugrana.
“Whenever we lose I attempt to encourage my players,” he told a Press conference.
“Regardless of what situation we’re in, my job is to make the players feel better and try to draw some positives ahead of the next match.
“I won’t change my philosophy. We lost. It could have been 3-0, it could have been 9-0 – it’s still a loss.
“I thought we competed in the first half with one of the best teams on the planet – that’s what I’ll take from this match.”
