Sevilla have announced that they have taken Spartak Moscow defender Nico Pareja on a season-long loan deal.
Pareja was confirmed by Jose Maria del Nido and Monchi earlier this week as the subject of talks with the Russians over a possible move and a move has now been confirmed via an official statement.
The 29-year-old centre-back will reunite with former Spartak Coach Unai Emery at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on a provisional season-long loan deal.
The Andalucians also have a purchase option included in the deal, although the amount is unspecified.
It is a return to La Liga for Argentine Pareja, on from a two-year stint with Espanyol from 2008 to 2010.
