Barcelona have reportedly offered young centre-back Marc Bartra a new four-year contract, but no decision will be made just yet.
The 22-year-old’s current deal expires in June 2014 and his club are understood to be keen to tie him down to a longer-term contract this summer.
However, having struggled for playing time under Tito Vilanova this season, the player is seen as considering carefully the offer, or whether his future may lie elsewhere.
Bartra is not expected to make any firm commitment until after his involvement with the Spain Under-21 squad at this summer’s European Championships is concluded.
