Juventus are confident of securing a cut-price deal for Barcelona youth outlet Mateu Morey, according to reports in Spain.
The teenage defender impressed at the Under-17s European Championship earlier this year and has a €3m release clause at the Catalan club.
Earlier this year, it was reported Bayern Munich had agreed a deal to trigger the 17-year-old’s release clause, but the German champions then pulled out of the deal after it was leaked to the media.
Now El Mundo Deportivo cite a report in Tuttosport that Juve have been extensively scouting the teenager and believe they can seal a deal.
Morey arrived at the Camp Nou in 2015 after starting his youth career with Real Mallorca.
