Barcelona have confirmed that part of their pre-season preparations will include a trip to Bangkok to play the Thai national team.
Barca are heading out to the Far East on tour this summer and the club’s official website has confirmed that the second opponent they will face out there will be Thailand’s national side, in a friendly set for August 7.
It will take the club to Thailand’s national stadium in a second ever visit to the country, before the club then head out to Kuala Lumpur for a match on August 10 against a team made up of the best players in the Malaysian League.
This year’s trip out to Asia is Barca’s fifth such tour of the region during a pre-season and will begin with a game in China on August 3.
After these three games, the team will return to Catalonia to begin final preparations for the season.
