Report: Keko to Sevilla in June

Sevilla will reportedly sign Keko in June, with Eibar agreeing to let him go cheaper in return for the winger staying the rest of the season.

AS reports Keko’s contract clause is €10m, not the €7m that had been reported, but he will be sold for the lower amount in June in return for an extra few months with Los Armeros.

Eibar also receive the first option on Keko should Sevilla decide to send him out on loan.

Keko price deters Sevilla

Sevilla are looking into other options after being dissuaded from going for Eibar’s Keko by the price tag placed on the winger.

Estadio Deportivo reports Sevilla will sign a player for the right wing before the transfer window closes on February 1, but don’t want to pay the €7m release clause for Keko, and Eibar initially wanted €10m.

Keko has reportedly told his club he would like to move to Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan but it’s possible Sevilla have given up on the 24-year-old, with other options being mooted.

Official: Luna & Keko to Eibar

Eibar have continued their pre-season rebuild with the signings of Aston Villa left-back Antonio Luna and Albacete winger Keko.

Luna, 24, started his career at Sevilla, before joining the Claret and Blues in the summer of 2013 and scoring on his Premier League debut against Arsenal.

However, after two disappointing loan spells in Italy with Hellas Verona and Spezia, he has rescinded his contract with Villa and arrives at Ipurua on a free transfer.
