Alaves' John Guidetti joins Bundesliga side Hannover on loan

Alaves have confirmed the loaning of striker John Guidetti to Bundesliga side Hannover.

The former Manchester City forward joins Mubarak Wakaso, who joined Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning, in leaving the Basque in a busy week of transfer activity at the Estadio Menizorroza.

Asier Garitano has already brought in Victor Camarasa and Ismael Gutierrez on loan, and the former Real Sociedad boss is anticipated to make more moves before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.

West Ham's Roberto Jimenez joins Alaves on loan

West Ham goal keeper Roberto Jimenez has joined La Liga side Alaves on loan until the end of the season.

The Spanish keeper has endured a nightmare start to life at the London Stadium, after signing two year deal at the start of the season, following his release from Espanyol in the summer.

He has made just eight Premier League appearances, alongside a series of high profile errors under former Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini so far this season.

Victor Camarasa has ended his loan spell at Crystal Palace and joined Alaves on loan until the end of the season.

The Basque club confirmed the news on Monday, signaling a return for the player who spent the 2016/17 campaign at the club, then on loan from Levante.

Cruz Azul want Alaves striker John Guidetti

Mexican side Cruz Azul are hopeful of a deal to sign out-of-favour Alaves striker John Guidetti, according to Marca.

The Sweden international joined the Basque club from Celta Vigo in January 2018, initially on a loan deal before signing permanently in a €4m move the following summer.

However, Guidetti has been a bit-part figure recently - he has played just 93 minutes in La Liga this season and has failed to score across six games in all competitions this campaign.
