Emery: Mbappe should join PSG

Paris Saint-Germain Coach Unai Emery believes Kylian Mbappe should join his club and reject the advances of clubs outside France.

The 18-year-old Monaco striker is at the centre of transfer speculation with Real Madrid among the clubs reportedly keen on a potentially record-breaking transfer fee.

“When we speak of Mbappe here in Spain, we talk about Real or Barca. But I’m at PSG and I say: ‘What could be more beautiful than representing a French team?’” Emery told reporters.

Mbappe to 'think over' future

Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe will ‘think over’ his future as he goes on holiday this week amid interest from Real Madrid.

The 18-year-old is in high demand this summer with varying reports linking him with a move away from the Stade Louis II, with Los Blancos, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain said to be among the clubs interested in a deal.

"We're going to go away as a family and we're going to think it over," Mbappe told reporters after starring in France’s 3-2 international friendly win over England.

PSG rival Madrid for Mbappe?

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly launched a fresh assault to snatch Monaco starlet Kylian Mbappe from under Real Madrid’s noses.

According to L’Equipe, PSG’s new sporting director Antero Henrique has “arrived with force” and already contracted Mbappe’s camp about the possibility of a transfer.

Furthermore, relations between Monaco and PSG “are good” for the Frenchman to make the move, to the extent that both club could meet in the next few days.

Bale sale for Mbappe deal?

Real Madrid will only sign Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe this summer if Gareth Bale leaves the Bernabeu, say reports in Spain.

According to Marca, Los Blancos would need to sell one of their star attacking players and the Welshman is likely to be the fall guy in Zinedine Zidane’s squad.

Bale, who has been once again linked with Manchester United in recent weeks, has clarified he is happy in Madrid even if he is not a first-team starter, but the reports believes he could be persuaded into a return to England.

Mbappe clarifies ZZ comments

Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe has clarified comments on Real Madrid Coach Zinedine Zidane stating he dreamt ‘of the player, not the Coach’.

The 18-year-old Frenchman idolised Zidane’s playing career when growing up and that has led to speculation his presence at the Bernabeu could influence the teenager’s transfer decision this summer.

"I dreamed of Zidane the player, not the Coach," Mbappe told reporters at a training camp for the French national squad.

RM 'would welcome Mbappe' - Varane

Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane is hopeful his compatriot Kylian Mbappe will eventually join him at the Bernabeu.

The teenage Monaco striker has been linked with a big-money move to the Spanish champions for months and Varane believes ‘it would be a pleasure’ to share the same dressing room.

"Mbappe is a very good youngster with a huge potential," Varane told Telefoot, as quoted by AS.

Monaco shortlist Valencia's Nani?

Newly-crowned French champions Monaco are keen on a summer transfer for Valencia winger Nani, according to reports.

Valencia-based Super Deporte have picked up on reports from France Football which state the Portuguese international is on a wish-list for Monaco, Coached by the winger’s compatriot Leonardo Jardim.

The 30-year-old is reported to be open to a move away from the Mestalla after just one year and Monaco are reportedly on the lookout for a replacement for Moroccan international winger Nabil Dirar.

Monaco’s in-demand striker Kylian Mbappe has said his future will depend on where he is guaranteed first-team football and any move will be his choice.

The teenage striker has been linked with a host of clubs including Real Madrid and Manchester United this summer after leading Monaco to the Ligue 1 title and the semi-finals of the Champions League.

"All I want to do is play. I'm at an age where I have to play,” Mbappe told BeIn Sports in an interview.

Monaco: Mbappe has no price

Monaco Vice-President Vadim Vasilyev has warned Real Madrid that Kylian Mbappe “has no price” as “we’re ready to refuse €100m.”

Zinedine Zidane has made no secret of his admiration for Mbappe, whose 26 goals and 14 assists fired Monaco to their first Ligue 1 title in 17 years and the Champions League semi-finals, but Vasilyev made it clear his club would not sell the attacker on their own accord.

“Kylian Mbappe has no price. If he wants to leave then we’ll discuss it,” he told Maxifoot.
