Fran Beltran open to Celta Vigo exit

Celta Vigo midfielder Fran Beltran is open to leaving the club in January, if he continues to be frozen out of the team.

Beltran signed for the Galician club from Rayo Vallecano at the start of the 2018-19 campaign in an €8M deal, making 30 La Liga appearances last season as the club staved off relegation to the Segunda Division.

However he has started just five of Celta's 10 La Liga games so far this season, with manager Fran Escriba rotating between him and former Barcelona midfielder Rafinha.

Midfielder Alvaro Medran joins Chicago Fire

MLS side Chicago Fire have completed the signing of Spanish midfielder Alvaro Medran, whose former clubs include Real Madrid and Valencia.

The 25-year-old spent last season on loan at Rayo Vallecano from Valencia - and netted three goals across 21 appearances for the Vallecas-based side.

However, his Los Che contract expired this year and he has now penned a two-year contract with the United States club, who he will be registered for from January 2020 onwards.

Leonardo Ulloa joins Rayo Vallecano

Former Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa has joined Rayo Vallecano.

The veteran Argentinian striker was released by the Premier League side at the end of the 2017-18 season, after four seasons with the Foxes .

He joined Mexican club Pachuca on a one-year deal for the 2018-19 campaign, but he was not offered an extension on his contract at the club this summer.

Ulloa is joined in Vallecas by Antonio Milic, as the defender joins on a season long loan deal from Belgian side Anderlecht.

Rayo Vallecano's Gael Kakuta returns to Amiens SC

Rayo Vallecano have confirmed the departure of midfielder Gael Kakuta to French side Amiens SC.

The DR Congo international was consistently linked with a return to the club where he played on loan from Chinese Super League side Hebei Chinese Fortune in the 2017-18 campaign.

His performances with club in Northern France persuaded Rayo to bring him to the Spanish capital, after he spent a loan spell in Vallecas in the 2014-15 season.

Alex Moreno to swap Rayo Vallecano for Real Betis

Real Betis are nearing the signing of Rayo Vallecano defender Alex Moreno, according to a report in El Mundo Deportivo.

The 25-year-old had been one of the standout players for relegated Rayo last season and appears likely to depart following their demotion back to the second tier.

Moreno could provide back-up to fellow Betis wing-back Alfonso Pedraza, also signed this summer, after Junior Firpo departed to Barcelona in a permanent deal.

Rayo Vallecano renew stadium lease for 20 years

Rayo Vallecano have renewed their lease of their Campo de Futbol del Vallecas by a further 20 years, according to Marca.

The club have been long-term tenants at the ground - located in their Madrid barrio of the same name - and had been renting from the Comunidad de Madrid, but their former deal had expired on 30 June.
