Chelsea goalkeeper Willy Caballero wants Spain return

Chelsea goalkeeper Willy Caballero has confirmed he would like to return to Spanish football before he retires from playing.

The Argentine shot-stopper celebrated his 38th birthday in September and he is currently the back-up for Kepa Arrizabalaga at Stamford Bridge.

Caballero has played in Spain across nine seasons between Elche in the second division before joining Malaga in the top-flight in the 2010-11 campaign.

Malaga denied match postponement over lack of players

The Spanish FA have rejected a request from Malaga to postpone their Segunda clash with Cadiz this weekend, the club have confirmed.

The Costa del Sol club had requested the game be postponed due to international call-ups, suspensions and injuries meaning they cannot meet their quota of players for the clash.

Carlos Kameni leaves Fenerbahce, returns to Spain

Former Espanyol and Malaga goalkeeper Carlos Kameni has left Turkish giants Fenerbahce and has returned to Spain, report Diario AS.

The Cameroonian goalkeeper to La Liga in 2004 and spent eight seasons at Espanyol before moving to Malaga, where he spent a further five seasons.

Villarreal sign Javi Ontiveros from Malaga

Villarreal have completed the signing of Malaga winger Javi Ontiveros in a €7.5m deal, it has been confirmed by the club.

The 21-year-old has penned a five-year contract with the Yellow Submarine after netting four goals and providing four assists in the second tier last season for the Andalusian club.

Despite his undoubted talent, the former Spain youth international has had his temperament called into question and picked up 11 yellow cards in the league last season.
