Milan agreeing terms for Barcelona defender Jean-Clair Todibo

Milan are close to agreeing a deal with Barcelona to land defender Jean-Clair Todibo on a loan deal with a compulsory €20m purchase option.

That is according to a report in Gazzetta dello Sport, which claims discussions are at an advanced stage between the club’s transfer chiefs Paolo Maldini and Eric Abidal respectively.

Milan are hoping to conclude a January deal Barcelona defender Jean-Clair Todibo, according to a report in Diario Sport.

Todibo only joined the Catalan giants in January this year, ending a long running contractual dispute with previous club Toulouse in Ligue 1.

The 19-year-old has only been involved in four La Liga matches across the calendar years - with two of his three starts coming after the league title was secured last season.

Arsenal have been scouting Milan winger and Spain international Suso, leading to reports they could launch a summer transfer move.

The Cadiz-native is said to have a €38m release clause in his contract but there are suggestions this only applies to clubs outside of Italy.

Clubs from Spain and Germany have shown an interest in Milan striker Patrick Cutrone, according to his agent Donato Orgnoni.

The 21-year-old has netted nine times for the Rossoneri so far this campaign but has been afforded just eight starts in Serie A.

Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso has confirmed the club have ‘talked about’ the possibility of a deal for Sevilla striker Luis Muriel.

The Colombian international – who has started just one La Liga matches this campaign – looks set to leave the Andalusian club in a loan deal in January.

El Mundo reported a deal with the Milanese giants was close although other reports suggest Fiorentina may be the destination for the former Sampdoria striker.

Sevilla striker Luis Muriel linked to Milan move

Sevilla are prepared to sell club record signing Luis Muriel to Milan this January in a cut-price €12m deal, report Marca.

The Colombian striker joined Los Rojiblancos in the summer of 2017 in a €21.6m deal from Sampdoria but has fallen behind Wissam Ben Yedder and Andre Silva in the attacking preferences for Coach Pablo Machin.

Muriel has started just one La Liga game this season – and making a grand total of just six league appearances – scoring just one goal.

Sevilla confirm they will activate €30m Andre Silva option

Sevilla will exercise their €30m option to sign striker Andre Silva permanently despite Milan wanting the striker to return.

The Andalusian club’s Director of Football Joaquin Caparros has reassured the club’s fans they will sign the Portugal international against the wishes of the Rossoneri.

The former Porto striker netted just twice in Serie A for the Milanese giants last season but already has netted seven La Liga goals in 11 appearances this campaign.
