Valencia vs Sevilla

Valencia boss Miroslav Djukic has admitted that his side are ‘emotionally weak’ going into this weekend’s match with Sevilla.

Los Che have endured a terrible start to the season under their new Coach, and prepare to face an in-form Rojiblancos on Sunday.

“The team is emotionally weak,” he told reporters on Thursday.

“I do not fear for my job. The only fear is for the image that we are presenting.

“I feel a great sadness for the image that we have provided because these are very good players and we are not doing things well.

“Right now I do not see a team that is either offensively solid or defensively secure and this is a very hard time. I have the capacity to reverse the situation.

“There is no choice but to keep working and fighting because no-one has a magic wand to fix this, whilst it is also clear that we have yet to find the key.”

“I am the head of the team. I cannot say that I am the good guy and they are the bad guys. I understand perfectly because people cannot be happy with what we are doing.

“We cannot ask for support because we do not deserve it. It would be a shame because we have not given them anything.”
