Valencia vs Espanyol

Former Argentine internationals Mauricio Pellegrino and Mauricio Pochettino meet for the first and possibly last time as Coaches.

The duo have a lot in common, from their first names to their age – Pellegrino is just five months older – to the fact they both appeared as defenders for their national side.

Something else they had in common earlier in the season was that they were both under intense pressure, but whereas Pellegrino has turned Valencia around, Pochettino is feeling the strain after last weekend's 3-0 loss to Osasuna left his side just a point away from the bottom of the League.

“The shouts against Pellegrino are shouts against all of us,” shot back Periquitos defender Victor Sanchez, as rumours of the tactician's demise intensified. “The players are the ones who need to turn things around.”

That will be far from easy at Mestalla, where Los Che have won eight of their last nine La Liga games.

Kick off: Saturday November 17, 5.00 (BST)
