Sevilla vs Real Betis

Sevilla and Real Betis meet at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan for one of Spain's most fiercely contested matches – the Seville derby.

Sevilla have the superior record in the derby and are generally regarded as the bigger club but go into this edition four points behind the Beticos. Moreover, they haven't got the better of their neighbours since 2008, having been defeated 2-1 by newly promoted Betis in this fixture last year.

“Going by the table, Betis are favourites,” said Rojiblancos 'keeper Andres Palop. “But in a derby favouritism is put to one side.”

“My players already know what I’m asking for and what it now needs is something to spice things up,” grinned Verdiblancos Coach Pepe Mel.

“This will be the best week for the players to go for a walk in the city and feel what the people are talking about, both Beticos and Sevillistas.”

Kick off: Sunday November 18, 8.30 (BST)
