Sevilla vs Mallorca

Sevilla and Real Mallorca both seek to rediscover their early season momentum in the Monday night kick-off.

Only their slightly superior goal difference is keeping 6th placed Mallorca above 7th placed Sevilla, after both sides suffered disappointing defeats to Granada and Celta Vigo respectively before the international break.

The hosts are likely to be without the trouble prone Gary Medel again, after he was arrested for allegedly slapping a journalist in his native Chile.

“It will be a special game for me,” says Mallorca striker Alejandro Alfaro, who was born in Seville. “The last two games we had some bad luck, but we are on the up. The international break has come in handy for us.”
Kick off: Monday October 22, 8.30 (BST)
